Ceslestun is a small fishing village located in the northwest corner of the Yucatan peninsula, forming in itself another small peninsula, only 90 km or one and a have hrs from Merida.
Home to more than 25 thousand flamingos, kingfishers, pelicans, storks, ospreys and temporary home to migratory birds in winter like Canadian pelicans, ducks and more migratory birds, hundreds of insects, mammals, reptiles, lizards, felines the size of jaguars and pumas are the inhabitants of this beautiful place. Surrounded for the most part by red, white and black mangroves as well, it is an estuary formed by salt water from the sea and fresh water from the cenotes, making the water brackish.
